NWTC

I’m catching up with posting new content. We’ve been so busy doing the work lately that I haven’t found time to talk about the work.

This spring we spent time at NWTC in Green Bay. It’s the 4th time we’ve been to that campus and this time we spread out to include engagements at their Shawano and Marinette campuses. We installed exhibits in each community and set up studios, asking, “When have you found strength in the midst of struggle?”

I love the question. So many of the stories in our latest book are stories of struggle. But that doesn’t have to be the end of the story. I always wonder, what’s next? And the stories that inspire me most are the ones where someone has made the choice to keep going. Even more than that, the ones where people have made the choice to use their experience to help someone else who might be going through the same thing.

Choosing strength in the midst of struggle does not mean ignoring the difficult reality at hand. In fact, it requires facing it head on, but perhaps we can face it with the grace, hope, and belief that something better is possible.

Here’s what some of the folks at NWTC had to say. How would you answer the question?

“When have you found strength in the midst of struggle?”
